I’d like to transition away from the ‘truthie’ and ‘falsy’ True, False, Null, yes, no… And instead use ‘true’, ‘false’ or ‘null’. The yaml defines booleans that way and will try to cast the others as booleans, but does not always succeed.

Yaml linters will error out on truthy or falsy values.

Have you tested this ? They are a bit big to tell if they work just by looking at them.

This hasn't been tested yet but it's about an exact copy of the new in production Evomaintenance script on Linux. I'll try to clear some time to test this soon.
